It’s Friday! My favorite day of the week. Lots of people love Saturday, but I simply love the anticipation of the weekend…the hope and beginning of it all. This Saturday I am attending the Martha Stewart American Made Summit. Speakers such as Martha herself, Arianna Huffington and Emeril Lagasse will speak about entrepreneurship, passion, creativity and crafting a career around doing what you love.

There will be also be 10 entrepreneur honorees of American built and crafted businesses that will be acknowledged by Martha Stewart herself. I will be there networking and hopefully building partnerships for the new endeavors of Lifestyle with Tina B.

In 2016, I am looking forward to launching my line of fabric home decor including pillows, throw rugs, table linens, cloth napkins, aprons and more. By writing with intention what I want, I have set an expectation that it will all come together for me.

What have you set an expectation for? I read an article (see here) by Oprah on Linkedin that discussed how most people are unable to articulate what they really want out of life. They may have their complaints and mile long to-do lists but what about identifying what you really desire. Vision boards, journals, diaries and even sticky notes are all great ways to put your thoughts and dreams are paper. From there, the real work begins. What will you do, what steps will you take to make your dreams a reality? How will you craft a life of passion, authenticity and creativity? Start today….live without fear and live well.
