Well, it’s finally here. The final day before Christmas Eve and Christmas. Shopping is complete, gifts are shipped (hopefully!), Christmas cards sent out to those near and dear. And here we are during the most wonderful time of the year! Time for family, friends, food, festivities and thoughts of those who are no longer with us.

Beyond the eggnog, Christmas ham, candy canes, cocoa and fresh baked sugar cookies, be sure to take time and settle yourselves. Find a quiet space to think about the real gift of Christmas- and that is the birth of Christ. Born under the most unlikely of circumstances, he came to set is all free. Soak in all of the goodness of this day and remember whom the son sets free is free indeed. (John 8:36)
