Happy Good Friday Everyone! This is my favorite time of year. Spring has sprung, trees and plants are starting to blossom again and good dose of rain cleanses the air. For me personally, Easter is incredibly significant. Celebrating the life, death and resurrection of Jesus is the cornerstone of my personal faith. It reassures me that anything I am in need of or asking God for is possible.
What is the foundation of your faith? What do you look to or who do you call on in your time of need? I believe having something greater than ourselves to believe in is so important in our life journey. We may not all believe the same thing or practice the same traditions, but research does show those with some sort of faith/belief system do have a more positive outlook on life and tend to have less stress and better mental well-being.
It is important that we don’t put everything on ourselves as we as human beings will never have all of the answers. Trust that you were created for love, hope, peace, joy and all the greatness that life has to offer. Look for the good in everything and I guarantee you’ll find it.
Have a fabulous Good Friday/Easter/Spring weekend!
29 A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Jesus’ lips.
30 When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. -John 19:29-30
With Love & Light,
